The Enrollment Specialist assists clients through the intake and enrollment process, ensuring eligibility 
documentation is collected and verified in alignment with HUD and program requirements. This role is 
responsible for enrolling individuals in health insurance, disability assistance, and public benefits 
programs, as well as connecting them to housing, healthcare, and community resources. The Enrollment 
Specialist also helps clients apply for supportive services such as cash assistance, SNAP, and other 
benefits to promote stability and self-sufficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in client 
services, case management, or social services, with strong organizational and communication skills and a 
commitment to supporting vulnerable populations. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carry out assigned responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and goals. 
  • Collaborate with team members, leadership, and external partners to support program objectives. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required by funders, regulations, and internal standards. 
  • Support clients/customers by providing quality services, resources, and follow-up as appropriate to the role. 
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as directed. 
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality, safety, and ethical guidelines in all tasks. 
  • Manage a caseload of up to 25 or more clients, ensuring timely and accurate enrollment into programs. Assist clients in applying for and maintaining health insurance, public assistance, disability benefits, and other entitlements. 
  • Collect and verify all required eligibility documentation in compliance with HUD and agency standards.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned; specific duties may be modified or expanded to meet evolving organizational needs.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field 

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in housing services, case management, or a similar role. 
  • Previous experience providing services and exercising leadership in a culturally and linguistically diverse setting, with demonstrated success. 
  • Prior experience in a health care setting, preferably FQHCs, strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of HUD regulations and experience with HUD-funded programs (preferred). 
  • Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or housing management software. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to crises.
  • Knowledge of HUD regulations and experience with HUD-funded programs (preferred).

Pay: $55,000

Languages:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/French strongly preferred.
